lace mix 200g pottle. imported from the austrailia pre heat your oven to 70-80 c spread some of your lace onto your chosen mat using cake lace spreader, work the mixture in all directions to ensure there is an even coverage – remove any excess with the spreading knife. place into your preheated oven for 8-10min to dry the cake lace. remove from oven and set aside for 5 minutes for lace to cool check that the cake lace is ready by peeling the edge of the lace from the mat. it should release easily – if it does not yet dry so replace it in the oven for another 2-5 minutes and then test that it is dry again. cake lace can be air dried and will take between 4-6 hours. pearlized cake lace has a stiffer texture and feel. if you would like a softer feel just add a second coat of white lace and pop into oven for 15-20 minutes. to fix the cake lace to your cake, brush a little edible glue on the back of the cake lace press gently onto the cake. if your not ready to use the cake lace,dust with cornflour and wrap in greaseproof paper until you are ready to use it. pleas note; we can only give you a guide as all ovens vary in temperature control.
